I don’t leave a lot of reviews but I will for this company. I worked with my uncle who, was an electrician so, I have a little bit of insight. From the first call with AJ, I knew I was dealing with a friendly stand up guy. I sent them photos of my breaker box from which he was able to give me an estimate to install my hard wired charger. There was no bs. It was the best price I found after speaking with multiple companies. Scheduled with them, AJ himself showed up on time and work was completed in a timely manner. No issues. AJ, The owner of the company answered my call right away and talked to me through my EV charger installation options. He patiently answered all of the questions I had. We agreed on a time for him to come and he told me if we agreed on the quote that he would likely be able to do it on the same day. We very much agreed on the quote and he did it right away. I could not be more satisfied. Professional installation of top quality components, and it looks and works right from the start. He also got all the permitting done for me, so I know I’ll never have issues with insurance or any other problem in the future. I can’t say enough good things about Big Red Electric Company. To start, AJ is stellar; he’s got a calming presence that makes you feel at ease with the whole process. Not only is he personable and easy to converse with, but he’s highly experienced and knows his stuff. On the estimate appointment, he showed me the panel and wiring, and explained exactly what needed to be done to have the electric car charger installed. Second, he was straightforward about what needed to be done and shared my options, without the sales pressure to pick the highest one. Third, The price was extremely fair, and because they’re Tesla certified, we get the additional warranty time on the charger. Suffice it to say, Big Red Electric is our go-to for anything electrical. We were so impressed we also had him install a ceiling fan, and we look forward to seeing Clifford the big red truck again to run power out to our pool area. I can’t say enough good things about Big Red Electric and AJ. This is the second time I’ve used him, and once again, I was not disappointed in the least. AJ installed a Level 2 wall charger for me and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. He went out of his way to do a great job, paying attention to the details and making sure the installation was clean, professional, and exactly what I wanted. It’s refreshing to find someone who takes this much pride in their work and genuinely cares about doing the job right. Instead, he focused on what was best for our situation and provided clear, straightforward recommendations. That level of transparency gave us a lot of confidence in choosing Big Red Electric. Even after the installation, AJ has been extremely responsive whenever we’ve had questions. Whether by phone or text, he always replies promptly and is happy to help. Absolutely amazing work. AJ is extremely professional and takes pride in his craft. We got a Tesla charger and 2 quad receptacles installed in our garage and it looks like it all came with our house, the install was absolutely seamless. Will definitely be referring this small business to everyone I know.
